1. WHERE
The first thing you’ll need to decide is if you’d like the photoshoot to take place “in studio” or “on location.” This is ultimately a matter of preference, but issues of timing and pricing should also be considered when making your decision.
2. schedule
Once you’ve decided on the location of your photo session, give me a call to get it scheduled. Appointments are available with flexible daytime, evening and weekend hours to work with your schedule, though it may take more time to get you on the calendar for an evening or weekend.
A 50% deposit of the session fee is required to reserve your appointment. You may mail a payment or make a payment using PayPal:
3. prepare
Once scheduled, get ready for a fun time with your pet! Although many of my clients tell me they have no intention of having their photo taken, I invite you to join your animal in some of the photographs. Pictures that capture the special relationship you share with your pet are some of the most endearing. There is certainly no obligation to purchase a photo of you with your pet, but it’s nice to have the option. We’ll do both full body shots and close-ups, and I encourage you to give some thought in advance to any special image you’d like to create. Click here for more tips on how to prepare yourself and your pet for the photoshoot.
4. GETTING THERE
See below for an interactive map and driving directions to my studio.
Enter in the doors labeled “Office Level” near Pilates Bodys or Ted’s Toys, then take the stairs to the basement level. I’m located in Studio #13.
5. view
Within about one week, I’ll have your private online album ready for you to review. You’ll receive an email with your login information and you’ll be free to review your full album of images for up to sixty days. This link can easily be forwarded to your family and friends as well. I’ll note some of my favorites shots for you, however, you know your pet best so the final decision is up to you.
6. order
Once you’ve reviewed your photos, you are welcome to contact me with your order or we can get together in person to further discuss color finishes, cropping, creative layouts or other ideas you might have. These sessions tend to last at least one hour and there is no additional fee for this consultation.
Once your order is placed, each image is cropped and color corrected with care then printed on high quality photographic paper by a commercial photo lab. It generally takes between 2 – 3 weeks to complete your order, which can be shipped to you for an additional fee. All images from your photo session are archived and are readily available for reorders.
7. payment
To begin processing your order, please make a deposit of 50% of your total order. The balance will be due when you receive your photographs. Cash, personal checks and Paypal payments are accepted.
